Tired.
I’m always tired lately, it seems. Work is wearing me out and running me down.
In spite of it all, I’m learning so much about human nature. Both the good and the bad.
I need to write. It’s strange how much I miss it. I can’t wait until my next day off.

80’s movie mood.
I feel like lying in bed all day and watching Lost Boys and Dirty Dancing.
Unfortunately I’m working all day.
Unfortunately for my kids, I mean, since I fully intend on subjecting them to the swoon-inducing dance instructor that is Patrick Swayze.
On that note I’m dying for work to be over ASAP because my brother is coming up for the weekend.
Get ready world.
Pause. Breathe.
I’m taking a day to treat myself.
I slept in for the better part of the morning, and now I’m doing laundry and hitting up the gym.
When that’s done, I’m going to spend the remainder of the evening diving back into my book. It’s been so long since I’ve done editing that I can’t even seem to remember where I left my characters last.
It’s a strange sort of homesickness, and I’m looking forward to a quiet evening of tea and adventuring and pillaging.
